Adoption of Bring Sites pdf icon PDF 78 KB

To consider report CLS63/15 of the Director of Corporate and Legal Services        which is attached and which seeks approval to adopt as Council Bring Sites those sites which are currently serviced by Cumbria Waste Recycling at Morrison’s store, Penrith and Stainton Village Hall.

 

RECOMMENDATION

1.            The Council adopts the Bring Sites at Morrison’s store, Penrith and at Stainton Village Hall site as both are viable sites for the collection of recycling materials.

2.            Officers be authorised to enter into discussions and Agreements with Penrith Town Council and Stainton Village Hall Committee with regard to a lump sum recycling credit payment to the Town Council of £1,400 and a recycling credit payment of £15 / tonne to the Village Hall Committee, if satisfactory terms can be agreed.
