RECOMMENDATION that the Public minutes 16/12/18 to 21/12/18 of the meeting of the Licensing Committee held on 12 December 2018 be confirmed and approved by the Chairman as a correct record of those proceedings (copies previously circulated).

Minutes:

Councillor Sealby gave a personal explanation in that he is a member of Ullswater Yacht Club.  He stated that he would take part in the discussion and vote.

To consider report G110/18 from the Deputy Chief Executive which enable

consideration to be given to proposed amendments to the existing licence conditions for pleasure boats and to set a licence fee for sea cycles and water bikes on Ullswater.

 

RECOMMENDATION that:

1.            the proposed draft conditions (attached at Appendix A) are approved for the purpose of a consultation exercise as outlined at paragraph 3.5 of this report;

2.            the matter be brought back before Committee for final approval in light of the results of the consultation; and

3.            the annual licence fee for sea cycles or water bikes be set at £44 per vessel with effect from 1 April 2019.
