Exclusion of the Press and Public To consider whether, in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, members of the public (including the press) should be excluded from the meeting during discussion of the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 and 3 of Part 1 to Schedule 12A of the Act. Chief Executive Recruitment To consider a verbal update from the Assistant Director Organisational Development. Minutes: Members received a verbal update from the Assistant Director Organisational Development and William Bradshaw from Solace.
RESOLVED that the following timetable of formal meetings be followed with regard to the Chief Executive recruitment process.
9 April 2018 – A formal meeting to confirm Stakeholders that the Members wish to invite to take meeting to candidates and to finalise what form the 2 day interview process will take. 12 April 2018 – Formal consideration of the initial long list of candidates, with Solace undertaking technical interviews 16-17 April 2018. 27 April 2018 – Formal consideration with regarding to preparing a final shortlist of candidates 3-4 May 2018 – Formal 2 day interview process |
